Rain Garden: Fox River Valley Academy Students Come to Help

One of the groups which has been instrumental in helping us develop our raingardens is the Fox River Academy students, parents, and teachers. The Fox River Academy is a public environmental education charter school with a focus on the Fox River Watershed. Stroebe Marsh, which is part of the WILD Center site, is part of the Fox River waterway, thus a very appropriate partnership. Dave Edwards and Don Borsos were Wild Ones volunteer supervisors.

Site coordinator Lisa Picconi and Wild Ones members Dave Edward and Gordon Braun are constructing the rain gutter drains to the raingardens.
